It's Been So Long

I can't believe it's been since January that I've written here. Life has been all over the place for the last 8 months and I will very soon provide an update!

Until then.

the newest year so far

2010.

I realized that I have remembered this entire decade for the first time in my life.

I can't articulate how things are changing, but they are, and I need to remember how things were.

I don't really have any resolutions, but I stumbled upon this list, excerpted from a Jack Kerouac publication.

1. Scribbled secret notebooks, and wild typewritten pages, for your own joy
2. Submissive to everything, open, listening
3. Try never get drunk outside your own house
4. Be in love with your life
5. Something that you feel will find its own form
6. Be crazy dumbsaint of the mind
7. Blow as deep as you want to blow
8. Write what you want bottomless from bottom of the mind

10. No time for poetry but exactly what is

25. Write for the world to read and see your exact pictures of it

Somewhat intended for writers, but as a list of things to consider in life, it is beautiful and a little mysterious.
